Great fridge. FYI, fits well in the Tesla Model Y sub trunk with a little room on top for air circulation.

I love mine. It's been running 24/7 for over two years now without issue.

I bought one to hold ice packs for my wife after her knee surgery. Worked really well while traveling.

we've had one of these paired with an ecoflow river 2 pro in my wifes car for a couple years. love it for road trips and grocery trips. also good for leftovers when we go out to eat. Have even used it to keep the kids' leftover dessert ice cream frozen before going to a school function!

from the manual it states there needs to be good ventilation...i don't see this lasting in the hot car during summer especially in the sub trunk with the cover. probably need to turn on cabin overheat protection during summer in which case there will be a double hit on power drain associated cop and the fridge itself.

• The device must be well-ventilated to allow for heat dissipation and ensure that there is space around the cooling vents. (Back space􀀅7.9 in, side space􀀅3.9 in)

Been looking at this model or the CRPRO30 VIP - other than the size is the VIP worth the additional $129?

I'd stay away from ones that vent from the bottom. I did a research back few years ago before I bought mine. For something like this you might want to get a wheel one if you might be moving it around, even if it's just a short distance. Even when it's 1/2 full, it's heavy.

Also some are built with the cooling unit on top so it vents from top. If you put this in a trunk or a van cubby hole, it blocks the bottom vents. But if it vents up top, it would stick out and you can put stuff besides it.

I have one that has been running 24/7 for the past 4 years at home. Sometimes I take it out on trips.

Why do you have it running 24/7 instead of a fridge? What's the use case?

Bought it for a trip, then it sat at home. Then when my main freezer broke, I moved the food temporary to this until I bought another one. Some stuff didn't get move back for easier access from the basement. So this one is closer to where my kitchen is for easy access and just never unplugged.

Don't forget, this has a freezer function to freeze stuff.

I don't need this right now but when I do, this thing will come in very handy. Decisions...decisions...

any comments on using it as a freezer. I bought a similar one at Menards and while it goes down to around 5 degrees, the unit is 42 lbs empty. This is perfect if it actually freezes.
