Just a warning that many modern cars have 15 Amp fuses and 12Vx15A=180W.

Now 170 is less than 180. But have a spare fuse ready for your fuse box. Old fuses are more likely to blow at high load.

I just now hope I don't regret posting those facts.

Sure. Up until you cut ignition and they run barely at 12V, and worse, slightly less.

Then the adapter keeps putting out 170W with a 140W and a 30W and you're suddenly Ralph the Fuse "haha I'm in danger."

Decided to buy. Upgrading my old "160W" that never gets close with combinations I actually use.

My hope is this one will actually charge my 100W laptop at full speed and still drive 30W to my phone on the second Type-C port.

And then I'll just never use 140W EPR if a second device is plugged in. If the fuse blows at that point, it's due for replacement.

I use this to power up my ROG ally 7 portable when I'm at work. It usually keeps up with the 65watt demand. Battery percentage might go down a bit sometimes to like 93 or above but it's enough to keep me playing. Mind you that using it on Battery power would have it dead within 30-40 minutes. So I'm in for another one just in case the current one breaks. I highly recommend

UEKIUJ68 still should bring it to $15.86. If you're using the Amazon app you might be missing the step of tapping on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code.

I believe the theory is most phones draw a 45W so a max of 90 -100W unless you trying to charge a laptop which will draw significant more.

It's a 12V fuse. If we play that game assume a car circuit running at 56V and try to get 15A thru the 15A fuse and *POOF* occurs rather quickly! They're really watt fuses labeled for installation at a certain voltage. Can put 6V @ 30A through same 12V @ 15A fuse.

Applies code properly but when you try to complete purchase it says item no longer available.

I love this is the first post because I had the same issue. Keep blowing fuses. Now people are ignorant and going to drop it to 20 Amp fuses or whatever but don't understand how this stuff works.

Just worked for me. I've been using one of these in a 23 F250 for over a year and haven't popped a fuse yet.

Used this in my car for the last year or so. Was the star of the show on my band's last two tours - we were able to work and game from our laptops and other devices without running out of juice.
