I'm aware. 5ms response time is crazy high.
lol no it isn't… you just entirely misunderstand the intended use case of this $45 travel monitor.

For what? Those 120FPS Excel spreadsheets?

If you aren't trolling, you're way out of your depth here.

Yeah, isn't 5ms way more than sufficient for 60hz. I don't get what the problem is.

The price increase post is a real problem though.

5ms is sufficient for every task you'll want to do on a 15" 1080P@60Hz monitor.

It's meant for stuffing in a laptop bag, not stuffing Call of Duty noobs into lockers.

The price difference is not significant enough to grab your torches.

It was cheaper before, but it's still around the same price as the no-name brands you'll find on Amazon.

However, there's no way Acer makes these. They're taking the same no-name models and slapping their branding on them.

I had a no name one that fell and broke a few months back. I replaced it with one of these around BF. This one has much better build and picture quality than the no name one that I had.

These are good portable monitors. Can be powered for several hours at full brightness with just a 10,000 mAh power bank. I tested it with a Firestick 4K at full 1080p and it works fine (the firestick can also be powered by that same PB, expect 3-6 hours of use for both together, good for a hotel night when they only have crappy 720p TVs from 20 years ago). Colors are a bit drab but if you select "Warm" preset in the OSD controls and fiddle with contrast settings it will likely look more vivid. Speakers are weak 1 watters but use this with good low latency BT headphones or BT speaker and it can be pleasant.

It not really portable and stream line as you need wires and power bank to work for 4-8 hr.
Existing Ipad, tablet, phone make good 500 nites brite 2nd screen for work.

These mini monitors are very niche and cheap

Does anybody know if this has built-in speakers? I'd love to find one for a good deal like this that also has built-in speakers.
