Also if you get this plan dont forget to turn off auto renewal or you will be charged 400 bucks
My one quibble with US Mobile is that they don't seem to offer anything to existing customers. I chatted with them and they were willing to let me walk rather than letting me take advantage of the last deal or offering me anything at all to stay. So switching back and forth between them and Mint or Visible or whatever seems like the best longer term option. USM is my favorite, hands down, but if something else that works well for me is considerably cheaper, I have no loyalty for corporations who show no gratitude toward me.
Community Reviews
US Mobile's annual Unlimited Premium plan stands out for strong value when the chosen network fits, with priority data, 100GB hotspot, and 20GB international roaming adding real utility for travelers. Coverage feedback points to big location differences across Dark Star, Warp, and Light Speed, so checking the carrier map closely matters. The main caveats are confusing network naming, Dark Star only port in restrictions, and smartwatch support not being included on this offer. Existing customer pricing and renewal handling also appear inconsistent, so the deal works best when the network and terms line up with your needs.
Common Questions (6)
Coverage depends heavily on location: Dark Star is AT&T, Warp is Verizon, and Lightspeed is T-Mobile. In some areas AT&T/Dark Star has the best signal and indoor reception, while other areas favor Verizon or T-Mobile; checking carrier maps closely is important because zoomed-out maps can overstate coverage.
Usually no. The deal is structured as a new-customer offer, and existing customers often have to ask support, threaten to leave, or port out to get any retention pricing; some were offered partial discounts, while others were told to pay full price until renewal.
No. The deal does not include a smartwatch plan, and Dark Star/AT&T does not support Apple Watch plans. A companion smartwatch line is currently available only with Warp/Verizon as the primary line, while Dark Star requires a separate standalone watch plan with a different number.
Not on this offer. The terms say network transfers are blocked for the full annual cycle, and moving the line off Dark Star voids the discount and can charge the payment method the difference. The advertised free network transfer benefit is effectively unavailable until renewal.
Yes, the Multi-Network add-on appears to work with this plan and is priced at $45 per year in the comments. It can be useful if your area has spotty coverage, since the second network can fill dead zones, but it also adds setup complexity and may affect battery life.
The plan includes 100GB hotspot on this deal, and commenters also reference 20GB of international roaming data. That makes it attractive for travelers who want hotspot use plus overseas data without paying extra on top of the annual plan.

I was happy enough with them that when some of the others on my phone plan are done with their phone payments, I think I'll break up the band and move my line to US Mobile Dark Star (AT&T). With 200GB of hotspot (second 100GB is at 8Mbps), I think it'll be great for me when traveling (hotspot then continues to be 600Kbps after the 200GB).
I've also just picked up a StarLink Mini (currently $229). They offer a new $5 per month standby plan which others are saying will let do you WiFi or VOIP calling and some slow data. This seems like it'll get me better options in terms of making phone calls anywhere, texting, with some limited data options. So I probably won't do a second line any more with a separate carrier.
For 50/50 city /rural, VZ+ATT
For 80/20 , ATT+Tmo or VZ+ GSM is good combo

They have to try to much it. at first they will low ball with $30 off, insist on equal or better offer as their competition.
if ask them without pretending to cancel, they wont offer you the best deal.
you shouldn't feel trapped. losing a stable customer cost them $500-1000 per new user.
they try to get over around with 1 yr contact, you can always get your remaining refund by emailing FCC for fair practice. its your right to challenge them
if they play promo games, so can you
