Because of this deal I started trying ATT in my area and I see that it has better reception than Verizon in the areas I roam. So it might be a good deal for me. Let's see in few days.

Also if you get this plan dont forget to turn off auto renewal or you will be charged 400 bucks

This is a good price for great service, even if not quite as slick as some of their recent deals.
My one quibble with US Mobile is that they don't seem to offer anything to existing customers. I chatted with them and they were willing to let me walk rather than letting me take advantage of the last deal or offering me anything at all to stay. So switching back and forth between them and Mint or Visible or whatever seems like the best longer term option. USM is my favorite, hands down, but if something else that works well for me is considerably cheaper, I have no loyalty for corporations who show no gratitude toward me.

I've definitely had better reception with both the Verizon and T-Mobile networks than AT&T across many states and cities.

I figured out the hard way that you cannot add a smartwatch with the same number on Dark Star/AT&T. You have to purchase a standalone plan and your watch will have a different number. It seems there's a way to get your stuff like texts and calls to work with your phone but there are a ton of hoops to jump through and using stuff like call forwarding. It'll gladly let you buy a companion plan but it won't allow activation of the watch saying no comparable lines were found.can only add a companion line for a smartwatch with Warp/Verizon plans at this time.
Thank you. Purchased partly because of the misleading smartwatch part. Sigh.

Correction: this DOES NOT include a smartwatch plan.
Currently, that's included only with Warp (Verizon) as the primary line. It's confusing the way it is advertised. Be mindful of the *

Their business model is based on most customers not going through the hassle of switching providers

The easiest way to remember is this . . . the three names that USM uses are in the same alphabetical order as AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.
That only works when seeing all three at the same time. I'll get some email with an offer on one network. (all three are not spelled out in the same communication).

I had to make myself a note of which mine is. So if I get an email, I look up mine in my notes. Have you noticed they don't send many offers for their Verizon network? So that's my easy way of knowing whatever they offer to me is not what I want. Big Grin

I do not approve of their purposeful obfuscation of the networks. Not cool.

Edit: Now I realize the reason was based on the carriers not allowing USM to use their actual names because USM offers multiple carriers. Petty, but makes sense. At least it wasn't done on a whim based on some marketing strategy. That part of it was the next best thing they could do. Reps to user IhtSD for enlightening me. I should have Googled for the reason.

I'm on the darkstar and warp networks. Both kinda suck in San Jose and LA. Might try the T-Mobile network. Luckily work benefits gives me 100 monthly. I can buy annual plans every other month if I wanted 😂

That moot cuz US mobile has all three at once with a small fee($5 to 10/mo)
One carrier is always going to have deadzone and good zone. But having two at once has rare deadzone and slowdown.

Honestly, I am really getting tired of the amounts of junk emails that US Mobile has been sending out lately. They are competing against Renewal by Anderson Windows for most junk mail of the year.

Actually USM everyday price is very good for annual..you can lock prices after renewal by pretend calling to switch for cellphone, wifi, etc for 50% off. Existing customer paying full price is healthy profits . New customer promo lose profits.
Promo rate for 1st year is very common. Use that to your advantage by pretend switching, using google voice routing (voice quality is bad), and get the 2-5 yr price lock with Visible.

Anyone know if this deal applies to multiple lines? If I bring over two lines from Mint, would each of them be able to get this price?
