This isn't a bad value for a lower end gaming prebuilt. That said, if you want a build based on a 5500 cpu I would just buy the B550 + 16gb ram combo on Newegg (https://www.newegg.com/asus-prime...6813119580) for $100 and the chip for $75. SSD would be like 75ish these days on a decent sale. $115 bucks buys a cheap case/psu probably equivalent to what's in this (Masterbox Q300L + whatever $65ish psu is on sale + $15 for a couple thermalright fans). That's like $365ish total? Leaves room for a slightly better gpu with the tradeoff being time and effort.

small power supply maxed outdated DDR4 so you already taking a hit on speed of ram and now its maxed at 16gb? so life in the slow lane for you. mid tier GPU better hope you do not game seriously you will get pOWNED on this machine, DDR4 is about 40% slower on games compared to DDR5 and that GPU is new baseline but the 5080 or a 5070ti will eat its lunch. This is old stock board and ram with a upgraded GPU and not even good old stock this is bottom of the barrel old stock

Max memory size 16 gbs, no blu ray drive, Windows 11 HOME? This sucks.
I haven't actually seen a PC with any sort of disc drive in almost a decade.
The max memory isn't 16gbs. It has 4 slots - you could easily toss 64gb in there, or you could have four months ago. The real downside is that it uses DDR4.

The CPU is the weak link here. Sooner than later, ou will hate yourself for buying this. Look for a desktop with Ryzen 5 8400F or Intel Ultra 5 225F instead. We have seen identical configurations but with those better CPUs for $800. That's an extra $50 well spent.

The GPU is far from the bottleneck. The 5060 is fine if you are interested in 1080p gaming (or even 1440p with DLSS). While AMD's 9060 XT is better at that tier, the 5060 is pretty standard for entry-level gaming PCs.

The Ryzen 5 5500 is the bottleneck - it is a pretty bad CPU for gaming.
