Yes it is and probably not, you'll have to use the YouTube app for that

I don't think it's for nurses. Just doctors

Doctors aren't either apparently:

Not even an ambulance driver counts unless they are an EMT too.

Looks like a doctor was it's own thing. You need a provider number which nurses like me won't have

Youtube TV also has a referral program for $15 off the first month, if you know someone with it. Not sure if this stacks though...

They flipped it on everyone. I remember there was word of cable becoming a la cart, but it streaming became a thing before that could happen. Everyone started "cutting the chord", the major cable stations jumped on the bandwagon (ie. Paramount). I think most of us are spending more on streaming than we probably had for cable, and that's minus the phone and internet that it got bundled with for a "discount".

I knnow a lot of people (including myself) have gone back to buying DVD's. At least then I own it and can watch without a service

That sounds ideal. Thankfully I still have a lot of my old DVD collection for when I want to watch my favorites. Between me and my family, we have pretty much most streaming apps, but when I want to watch an old favorite 4/5 times it's not on any app, other than if you pay for the rental. What a sham!

The one that kills me the most is Amazon. My sister uses the digital credits to buy movies, which is fine. But you don't actually own them. It's basically a long term lease. Ridiculous
