Anyone comment on the heat/cold retention on this? I have a couple of Stanley water bottles and have been disappointed

I used this exact unit to hold coffee for Christmas this year, and it kept it absolutely piping hot for the 2 hour drive after making it and then the 4-5 hours I was actively pouring out of it for everyone. We drank probably 75-80% of the coffee and then I brought it home. It was still warm enough to enjoy drinking it the next day, over 24 hours after I originally filled it, and that's including the fact that 80% of the liquid that was in there was replaced with room temp air as we drank it.

That being said, I did fill it up about 12 hours before I brewed all the coffee with boiling water, and let it sit over night. Preheating these things goes a long way just like prechilling an insulated cooler does. If you have the foresight and time available to do it right, one of these could keep it's contents very hot for a day easily.
