CyberPower and MSI have been cranking out a lot of garbage quality systems lately. Plus, the bloatware on MSI's is just incredible, like 40+ applications.

Bloatware is irrelevant -- always download the Windows 11 ISO and do a clean install. You can manually make a bootable flash drive with a program like Rufus or use the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool and it'll automatically download/install.

If at the $900-1k price, should definitely be looking for a 5060 Ti instead with 16gb of ram. The model in this post is only 5060 with 8gb which will become obsolete pretty fast if you intend to play more modern games on it.

That's fine for most enthusiasts, but Costco customers aren't generally in that group of users.

the graphics card is weak for the price from other recent deals in same range. But I guess in the moment and being in costco makes it not bad for something now

I'm choosing between this build and the iBUYPOWER one:

https://www.bestbuy.com/product/i...ku/6632287

Since storage size doesn't matter to me, which one offers better overall performance for the price?

Looks like they're pretty similar. If raytracing is important to you, go with the ibuypower. Costco does double the warranty though.

Anyone using a PC for gaming should be an enthusiast though...I'd argue that's comes with the territory.

For me personally, I would save the $100 and get DLSS and extra 1TB of storage (I know you said storage doesn't matter, but SSD prices are also going up).

The RTX 5060 8 GB is a waste of money. It performs up to 50% worse than the 16 GB card, which is only $50 more expensive. No wonder all these deals are trying to get rid of the 8 GB version. Check the Monster Hunter Wilds benchmark for the 5060 8 GB vs the 16 GB if you don't believe me.

There should be a -$50 over $500 coupon in your email from Costco as well. Making this $849- the same price as the other 5060 32gb ram prebuilt from Black Friday.
