The ones I purchased for the guys at my work costs hundreds of dollars. Quality gap?

When I buy life saving equipment, bargain pricing is always my top concern.

You might have overspent. Something like this is ideal for those jobs where the harness is required for compliance but unnecessary in reality. Something like HVAC work on top a short commercial building. I wouldn't want to use it if I actually thought I'd need to rely on it.

Must be a warm fall wherever this is designed for.
On a different note, I'd spend a bit more on safety myself than $29

Honestly it's pretty insane (and alarming) that Amazon's just allowed to sell cheap uncertified China-direct safety related crap like this without being sued out of existence.

Second pic implies these harnesses are more for the dungeon scene than the construction one. My biggest concern would be chafing.

Sizing. My adult daughter is quite petite, and weighs under 100 pounds. We had trouble with her being able to tighten a women's small enough. Her fairly buff still growing "little" brother is just under 6 feet tall but under 150 pounds, even with weight lifting in HS. Similar issue. I'm a middle-aged man who is lightly overweight but not obese, with a 44" chest and 36" waist. The standard sizes adjusted nicely for me. In fact I had to go with L vs XL as the waist on the XL was crazy loose. I do not remember which brands we have.

These are like shoes. If they don't fit, they are going to hurt you if you fall. This was all for climbing up a red mulberry tree 50 feet tall for harvest, so while it's not like a 10 story commercial building, a fall can easily kill you.

I'm hoping you use that mentality for yourself and not employees. A 10 foot fall can be life changing.
