Lifelong pizza lover here who just had to start keto. Been missing real pizza bad and have been going down the rabbit hole on low-carb options... cauliflower crusts, low-carb wraps, sugar-free sauces, etc. Has anyone actually been able to satisfy the pizza craving with these keto versions? Any tips or go-to combos that worked for you?
Also debating whether something like this indoor pizza oven would make keto pizza better, or if I should just grab that Ninja oven Woot has for $200 instead https://slickdeals.net/f/19021282-ninja-woodfire-outdoor-pizza-oven-8-in-1-portable-electric-roaster-oven-smoker-gets-up-to-700-f-199-99. Curious what's worked for others.

Can't help with the keto stuff but I have a version (just the pizza oven) of this Gourmia and it's very good. You can dial in the heat (up to at least 600 F I believe) for the top and bottom separately. Beware, however, the unit is big... very deep, and quite heavy. Most people wouldn't keep it on the counter. We haul it up and down from the basement on occasion, which sucks. It is solid and well made, however. Could easily double as a toaster oven/broiler. Got mine for about $60 here on SD a while back.

I love this oven. Can't say anything about a keto pizza. But that seems more like a recipe issue than a potential issue with this oven. I own a propane oven and got really good with it, but it's an outdoor thing. Buddy brought this over to make his first pizzas. We both made dough and had fun breaking it in. The next day we bought this oven. It's great, makes great pizzas, doesn't smoke up the house, and lets us stay indoors so we can all hangout while making pizzas. It was a bummer leaving the family/group/party to deal with pizzas. Great temp control, easy to use.

The carb burrito wraps make you own sauce no sugar and cheese and meats makes decent thin crust pizza

Interesting, thanks for the real-world feedback. The description on this one claims it can hit 800F, which honestly surprised me. I didn't think it was really possible to reach 800 on a standard 120V / 1800W plug without going 240V. Still, if it can truly get close to 600F consistently, that's already pretty impressive for a countertop unit.

About how long does it take for the stone to fully heat up before you're ready to launch a pizza?

I'm also considering using it outdoors and leaving it under a covered patio / built-in canopy when not in use. Do you think it's durable enough for that, or does it feel more like something that really needs to stay indoors?

Also curious how you got it for $60. Was that this exact model or an older / simpler version?

This thing cooks pizzas faster than our outdoor propane pizza oven. We actually had to turn down the temperate on the lower heater, so its nice that you can adjust each individually. If you are prepared for the size and have a place for it, it works so much better than a regular oven.

I believe the $60 one he got is the cheaper model I had also purchased from a previous deal a while back, although I got mine at $100 in a more recent deal. It's mostly the same, except without the extra settings. Only timer, upper temp, lower temp. This model has a bunch of extra presets to choose from, which I think might be worth the extra cost since we often struggle dialing in the right temps when we're in a rush and want to use frozen pizza instead of home made.

I bought one of these at Target during Black Friday last month. This thing is well loved on the /r/pizza subreddit and I can see why. It's honestly shocking to me how something this cheap gets so hot - I've been using it for neopolitan style pizzas and i think the preset (750°F) is pretty spot on - in trying increasing it to its max temp and the toppings did start to burn before the dough was fully cooked.
Preheating does take a while - about 20+ minutes. I'm not a huge fan of the user interface - the controls are all touch based. I think adding a nob to change temperature and time would be a HUGE upgrade here, but for the price I can't complain. Additionally, the inserts it comes with take some wiggling back and forth to get them fully inside the unit. You do get some steam/smoke so be sure to use it near a vent hood if you can. I'm not sure how hot the underside gets and didn't want to take chances so I bought a cheap wood board to put underneath it.
I get the nice spotting on the underside of the pizza (just like a "real" pizza oven!) and I've also used it to make homemade pita. toasting a bagel isn't great but for something that replaced my toaster I'll just deal with that, too.
I bought this as an intro to indoor pizza ovens - I had planned to get an Ooni Volt 2 but figured if this thing performed then I'd upgrade if/when this thing eventually dies.

I have one of the other models. It cooks nice! Probably cooked 20 different times by now but starting to notice the door doesn't completely close all the way. I see steam escaping the door area but I now prop it with a block of wood to keep it shut. Something to keep an eye on

Making good pizza at home is hit-or-miss for me. It is mostly misses. No matter the recipe, the dough is either pale and dry or pale and flavorless. When it does get brown and crispy, it is a miracle. The cheese often burns when baked for 4 minutes at 500 on a steel. At this point, I am frustrated. I don't know if buying an oven will make a difference.

I got the walmart clearance of this machine and we use it all the time. It can smoke if you get any pizza on the sides getting it in. Also you will want to get a sliding pizza peel, makes putting it in way easier. And you can flip the pizza stone after each use so it gets a chance to bake off everything from the previous use.

Watch these guys...I blend the two techniques as I cannot do the stretch and flip method well. So I stretch and rotate, and then use my knuckles. Secret is that I leave my dough on the counter covered for 2 hours. No snapback if you allow it to come to room temp.

I am a novice, and I have bought both the Urban Slicer Pizza Worx ($8) and DeLallo Italian Pizza Dough Kits ($8). I used the DeLallo kit before I found Trader Joe's. So lately, I have used Trader Joe's dough mostly to help with my learning curve on making the dough balls, stretching, and using the oven.
That said, while having the kits is great for times when TJ does not have dough or you don't want to drive to one far away, for $1.70 at Trader Joe's, you cannot beat the price of pizza dough. 16oz bag makes 2 10" pizzas. Just don't go on Saturday or holiday weeks as they most likely will run out. I hear Safeway dough is also okay.

For NY style in this oven, I do manual, and the TJ crust comes out perfect in 4-5 minutes (1 rotation in between). I've done supreme, pep/mush/green pep, and pep only. I have also done Hawaiian, and for that and supreme, I do not cook my veggies first and the pizza is fine.
