Also debating whether something like this indoor pizza oven would make keto pizza better, or if I should just grab that Ninja oven Woot has for $200 instead https://slickdeals.net/f/19021282-ninja-woodfire-outdoor-pizza-oven-8-in-1-portable-electric-roaster-oven-smoker-gets-up-to-700-f-199-99. Curious what's worked for others.

The carb burrito wraps make you own sauce no sugar and cheese and meats makes decent thin crust pizza
About how long does it take for the stone to fully heat up before you're ready to launch a pizza?
I'm also considering using it outdoors and leaving it under a covered patio / built-in canopy when not in use. Do you think it's durable enough for that, or does it feel more like something that really needs to stay indoors?
Also curious how you got it for $60. Was that this exact model or an older / simpler version?
Interesting, thanks for the real-world feedback. The description on this one claims it can hit 800F, which honestly surprised me. I didn't think it was really possible to reach 800 on a standard 120V / 1800W plug without going 240V. Still, if it can truly get close to 600F consistently, that's already pretty impressive for a countertop unit.

Preheating does take a while - about 20+ minutes. I'm not a huge fan of the user interface - the controls are all touch based. I think adding a nob to change temperature and time would be a HUGE upgrade here, but for the price I can't complain. Additionally, the inserts it comes with take some wiggling back and forth to get them fully inside the unit. You do get some steam/smoke so be sure to use it near a vent hood if you can. I'm not sure how hot the underside gets and didn't want to take chances so I bought a cheap wood board to put underneath it.
I get the nice spotting on the underside of the pizza (just like a "real" pizza oven!) and I've also used it to make homemade pita. toasting a bagel isn't great but for something that replaced my toaster I'll just deal with that, too.
I bought this as an intro to indoor pizza ovens - I had planned to get an Ooni Volt 2 but figured if this thing performed then I'd upgrade if/when this thing eventually dies.

I am a novice, and I have bought both the Urban Slicer Pizza Worx ($8) and DeLallo Italian Pizza Dough Kits ($8). I used the DeLallo kit before I found Trader Joe's. So lately, I have used Trader Joe's dough mostly to help with my learning curve on making the dough balls, stretching, and using the oven.
That said, while having the kits is great for times when TJ does not have dough or you don't want to drive to one far away, for $1.70 at Trader Joe's, you cannot beat the price of pizza dough. 16oz bag makes 2 10" pizzas. Just don't go on Saturday or holiday weeks as they most likely will run out. I hear Safeway dough is also okay.
For NY style in this oven, I do manual, and the TJ crust comes out perfect in 4-5 minutes (1 rotation in between). I've done supreme, pep/mush/green pep, and pep only. I have also done Hawaiian, and for that and supreme, I do not cook my veggies first and the pizza is fine.
650*F on the bottom.
550*F on the top
Truthfully, without this oven, from what I have seen, you need to heat that steel for 1 hr at 500*-550* (self clean mode? broil?) and cook for up to 10min. Video one guy (Neil) uses a steel and describes his process in some of the videos or in the comments.
Gourmia gets to 800 degrees. IMO, the high heat can offset some inexperience. Then it comes down to refining the temperatures you're setting for top and bottom. I tend to lower the top down to 725 so it gives the bottom time to cook at a higher temp. And possibly rotating the pizza if it's browning the top too much on one side.
I bought a slightly less fancy Gourmia when it was $50 at Walmart last year so it was worth the gamble at that price. One of the best appliances i've bought in years. We like it so much that we rearranged all the appliances on our countertop.

anyway my first one kinda went a bit bonkers after less than a few days, after turning it on and cooking a single pizza it started beeping constantly, couldnt even press the on off button, constant beeping. something in the electronics got messed up. customer support was good, just wanted a video, they asked for me to cut the cord, then sent out a replacement pretty quickly. im a bit skeptical on how long the replacement is going to last but the cooking results are pretty good, much better than a 1/2 inch pizza steel can do in less time.
one other thing of note, it has just a polarized plug, and quite a thin looking wire for it. not what id expect out of an 1800watt device. kind of wary of that, though im no electrician.
love the results, if the second one ever dies ill have a proper reason to spend on the breville or ooni, but I do hope it lasts
