Gamers have to look out for themselves and if price is not a consideration, if one wants the highest performance with the most features supported and the most eye candy, then one needs to go for Nvidia...for now.
However, now that Nvidia's attention is focused elsewhere, now would be time for AMD to start eliminating the deficiencies in their product lines.

That said, the spirit of your comment isn't wrong - I think $675 OTD is too much, but it's beyond disgusting AMD basically has only a single SKU at (below) MSRP limited to MC. If AMD sold these cards at a steady and reliable $600 they would've gained considerable market share - kinda gets the noggin joggin' a bit, if one is so inclined.
As for other comments, the 5070Ti is a terrible buy but people will spend as they see fit.
