Nowhere in the description does it mention auto-selection or auto switching. Repeatedly says simple 1 button switching. So you are complaining about it working properly and not doing things it wasn't designed to do.

Got this last time. Works ok except that I wish it would auto switch and I have to be constantly pressing the button as its not doing it properly.

Bought this and it works fine. I have a Mac Mini I used mainly to stream media and I use the Anker to connect it to a monitor and also a Sony tv, both through HDMI, switching back and forth sometimes.

Can one daisy chain a bunch of these into an existential nightmare? I've got five inputs trying to go into one TV and my current 5 to 1 switch is getting a bit spotty these days.
