Spend the extra money for the fuel brushless version
Spend the money on the Ridgid equivalent and get a "lifetime warranty" for tool, charger AND battery with their Lifetime Service Agreement, provided you register within 90 days. Ensure you Re-register any items replaced to maintain the LSA.
Ryobi, Ridged (portable power tools) and Milwaukee are all made by the same company, TTI.
But with Ridgid, you never have to buy replacement batteries, thanks to their LSA.
Regardless of which kit you're with, you could always get a Ridgid to brand X battery adapter via eBay.
Is the m18 overkill in a lot of situations for this tool? Wondering if the M12 (fuel though) would be better investment and handle most jobs / lighter, easier to work with

Decided to get this combo I realize it's not fuel but for the price had to beat!
When a charger is 89$ or 99$ for the rapid only charger this bundle was a no brainer.
Next day delivery from HD was also a plus!
Wish it was fuel but the tool only fuel on HD is 249.
