not a voltage adapter, so make sure if you're plugging an AC device in that it accepts 220v. Most laptop chargers do.

There is no hole above the adapter.

1. If you're talking about the 2nd image, that's just the adapter plugged upside-down for easy port access (see the word Acer facing downward).
2. To confirm, look at the 8th picture talking about fire resistance, there is no hole above the adapter.

I noticed the specs on one of the product pics, but then I noticed another product pic (70W from one USB-C port) powering a Macbook. That looks promising, then.

The final test would be someone to buy it, and test it on their laptop. Any takers?
I have four of the 70 watt. They work great with laptops.

That must be where the screw is.

In case anyone's wondering: the max output of a USB-C port is 5V x 3A = 15W. Still hoping for an world travel adapter that can do 60W out of a USB-C port, but at least you can bring a conventional GaN 60W AC adapter and plug it right in the front.

This one does 65W off a single USB-C port.

Have the Ceptics 70W and works STUNNINGL well. Charges my HP laptop fine over USB-C, while charging my phone and watch.

Both this and the Baseus deal listed do 70w, there are higher wattage models available from other brands too, even 140w EPR.

So I know some people are probably super globe trotters but if you just do the occasional Europe trip, I just throw the little blade to round converters in the bag, this thing also doesn't convert voltage which means if your device won't accept the 230V it will fry it. I honestly don't think these large entire world travel things are worth the bulk, I have 3, 2 of them I got for free at conventions when they give out swag. Ymmv

I feel like Acer might be slightly more reliable and you can have one in your hands tomorrow.

That being said, if it is just the power adapter, NOT the USB ports, I don't really have a problem with buying Temu / AliExpress adapters that are literally just changing the shape of a plug from a functional standpoint. Them stepping down voltage to USB ranges from countless different volts and Hz to plug into my $500 phone or $1000 laptop...not so much. Seems like tiny reward vs a whole lot of risk to worry about saving a few bucks. Not to mention, during my travels, I've had more than a few cheap universal doohickeys die mid trip and was forced to buy the replacement at tourist prices. Sometimes the savings ends up costing you.

And who wants to bet that Temu adapter couldn't fast charge a Kyocera Wink

Its a variable voltage adapter like most stuff like this. Nothing complicated necessary. It also says it has Overheat protection, a current overload guard, a secondary safety circuit, surge protection, and a low voltage cutoff. Its also hard fused with a spare fuse included. This 70W is GaN.

No one said "complicated"...nevertheless, many Temu vendors can still mess up uncomplicated....as can local vendors as well but seems far less often and you'll likely get better support.

And if you blow a fuse charging your cell, we got better problems.

FWIW, I'm not telling you how to live your life, I'm just stating how I live mine. My risk vs reward ratio isn't about saving $5 to risk $500. Yours might be. No judgement.
