If you already have access to Microcenter, wouldn't it make more sense to get the $680 bundle that includes the ASUS B650E motherboard? Unless you're in a very specific position where you have an access to a Microcenter and also somehow only have an AM5 motherboard.
I'm in a position where I already have an AM5 build with a 7700X and actually looking to upgrade to a 9800X3D. In that case, I would either just get the CPU for $400 or get the $680 bundle and either try to flip the rest or just use the 7700X build as a secondary PC.

Seems like only the Flare X5 works with the 9800X3D. It says in the promo banner: "AMD 440792, Intel 548628". 440792 is the Flare X5, 548628 is the Ripjaws. OP probably should update that.
