Avoid this brand, it is a scam. Their blankets are designed to only last for one season before you get an error code on the console and it is done for.

Not this electric throw, but I bought a Sunbeam heating pad for my elderly mother and her arthritis and like was said, error code and it's dead...and 4-5 days past the return window.

Is everything junk with these items? I'm not quite ready to abandon Sunbeam but maybe the next time one dies immediately I'll be willing to try another brand.

FWIW I have it on me now. I think I'm on my third winter with it. It gets used probably 3-4 months of out the year tho.

I concur, I had one that only lasted 2 months and I couldn't even get Sunbeam to reply to an email or return a voicemail.

It did heat super well compared to my Amazon (random name of the week) mode that's lasted me 2+ years but only gets warm by comparison. The Sunbeam could get borderline uncomfortably hot if you let it....which might have been some of the problem.
