$50.10 at my store

Good set, made in Taiwan

Don't forget to get some rails, as these don't come in a case, just a cardboard box.

Is there a way to tell if your local store has it on clearance? The link shows me full price at my local store?

Your store needs to have it IN STOCK (so if the only option is delivery, no dice)

Your store also needs to have it Clearanced (so the Clearance price will be in green on the webpage)

Try some other local zip codes, and see if you can find "In stock nearby"

Wouldn't it be easier to just get the Harbor Freight Pittsburgh version? It comes with a lifetime warranty as well.

37 piece 1/2 and 3/8 combo fro $40. Then a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter as needed $8-14.

So I picked up one of these sets today. As someone who has purchased Craftsman tools on average several times a year for over ~30 years and more recently the Milwaukee impact drivers / drills / and sockets - These Craftsman sockets appear to be of decent quality and weight but in ABSOLUTELY NO SANE UNIVERSE are these worth $166 "regular" price.

To be honest this set feels like a ~MRSP $50 set of impact sockets. I'm only keeping them at this price as I had to dive ~45 minutes to the only Lowes in Nth Houston that had them in stock. Also I'm trying fill in some gaps with my existing 3/8 and 1/2" impact sockets as I now have the higher end Milwaukee impact drivers that will shred my non impact rated equivalents.

As someone who spent a couple hours tracking down a set of these Craftsman's sockets today and having inspected them in person - highly recommend considering the Harbor Freight equivalents... if they exist.

However, the HF links above are for regular metric and sae sockets. The Craftsman set is for hex/allen, torx, and reverse torx/star patterns.

Use Brickseek. I used it to determine the West Spring store (N. Houston) had 4 sets earlier today.

Also see my comments above. While these seem to be of decent weight and quality, they are *ABSOLUTLY UNDER NO CIRSUBSTANCES* a $166 set of impact sockets. I feel they are barely worth the ~$55 price.
