I love the concept of an electric moka pot so I don't have to worry about if I left the stove on, but the top of this is plastic. Wish it was glass

I have a moka pot and it is in my regular rotation.

They produce a strong, rich coffee, but it does not make "espresso".

This was $19.99 at Target two weeks ago. Thought the top was glass, but it's plastic.

I'd prefer plastic to glass. Safer. I use the six cup electric "office" Bialetti as my daily driver. Delicious. This is a good alternative.
