Ordered two. Hopefully it's good. I tried other style of hand warmer and it's lukewarm at max setting. I only have good experience with this style.

I'm not sure I'm a fan of requiring a charging case to charge these.

If they had a USB-C port on each for an alternate means to charge, they would be perfect.

Benefit of the case is you only need one cable to charge but downside is the extra bulk.
If the regular magnetic ones can charge both hand warmers while only one is plugged in via wireless charging then it would be perfect.

I think the logic is that you connect these faster/easier vs connecting them one by one with a usbc cable. It's like "wireless" in terms of quickness.

This! You put the case in a stationary plugged in place, like where you put your wallet and keys, then take the warmers out on your way out the door.
In theory it beats unplugging them and plugging them back in. I don't have them so don't know about it in practice.

The ones I ordered, Ocoopa brand I think, came with a split cable so you could charge them both with one cable.

Of course I promptly lost it for a month so I did indeed have to charge them with two chargers.

Project Farm just released his review of all these hand warmers. These fared better than average, but Rugged Rhino was the best bang/buck. And considering theres only a few more cold months before these get relegated to the closet, its a pass for me.
