Good deal if you know how to apply the coupon. I had to copy it; start the checkout process, click on "Use a gift card, voucher, or promo code" then paste and apply the code. It did not show the discount on the right-hand side, then I REFRESHED the page and it did.
I ordered 2 with the discount. It is a one-order promo i.e., after using it once, can't use it again for that account.

I have had some extensive chats with GPT on noise blocking as i have a 68 story building being constructed 60ft away. This pair, price is great, but seems to be designed for event situations not for the quietest possible sleep. I believe it would be less effective than the average foam plugs. Also the large outer flange looks like would be in the way for side sleepers.

In my experience, I rather pay little bit more to get the ones with the flang made with hard plastic, easy to put on. I ended up throwing away the ones flanf made with soft sillicon which seems like the one here.

Curious on how these compare to the Loop brand of earplugs. I usually try to compare reviews, but I don't always fully trust when they are all "Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product" reviews.

That being said, for $4.75 there's really not much loss just to try them and see for myself

Think I'll try these, those foamy things are great for sleep but these look more stylish when walking around concerts or a stadium.

Just for comparison on the same scale, silicone types effectively protect to 24-27db and foam earplugs are 33db (highest possible), so yes these are slightly less effective however these have the advantage of a little ventilation and reusability.

Personally I always tip one foam earplug ajar when I sleep so I can hear the smoke alarms etc anyway.

Please let me know which foam you found that would block fire alarm sounds. I desperately need that.

For me all the foam ones if seated properly (I use Mack's) will block a home smoke alarm going off pretty easily.

Years ago the only reason I woke up during one going off was because my cat jumped on my back and started batting my head while I slept. And I'm a light sleeper (thus the earplugs.) Perhaps you're not seating them properly or don't buy the 33db ones?
