Sure, it may look nice. But you know what happens to those ridges? The cat poop and litter sticks to them and they are a pain to clean.
A real cat owner would have made it completely flat with raised edges at the end.
Reviews seem to indicate as much:
Litter stick to the mat, very hard to clean. Had to trash one… do not recommend at all.

Impossibly sticky. Couldn't clean properly. Would not recommend for the intended function of being a litter mat. Because of how much litter stuck to it (and wouldn't come off easily)
Some reviews also state that the pattern was different.. instead of convex (sticking up) it was concave (a rut). Meaning... litter sticks even more.
