You can use it for things like deadlifts, snatches, barbell curls, barbell rows, etc.

Fyi that it weighs only 36 lb as opposed to the standard Olympic barbell weight of 45 lb.

I ordered this last time 4 months ago or so. Took 2.5 weeks and arrived damaged. Spent 3 hours on the phone. The typical experience with this merchant.

Was going to post the same. Bought a similar one last year from WM and had to return it.

Hope I'm not asking a stupid question here. Since this barbell is unrackable, what good is it for then?

Arrives January 22nd for me. Still ordered since this works better for Landmine and curls outside the lifting cage in my home gym.

Just want to clear up two things:
  • It weights 33lbs (15kg)
  • This is a women's Olympic barbell

The weight is unclear. I initially had written 33lb for the shipping weight but then I saw that the second picture specifically says 36lb so I changed it.

A women's Olympic barbell is 79.1" and this one is noted as 72" in the second image.

The shaft diameter of this one (i.e. the grip) is noted at 1.1"=28cm. The standard diameter of a women's is 25cm and men's 28cm, so I would consider this a plus if you are a man buying this bar since you get the standard grip size that you have been accustomed to at the gym.

Yes, I agree. This said, unless somebody needs it for a rack, the price is excellent and honestly a bit more versatile for many exercises as opposed to a full-length bar. Doing curls and rows with a full-length bar is a bit unwieldy in my opinion and this would probably be better for many non-rack exercises.

I agree with all of that.

Should note that this bar was $12.99 about a month ago though, so this is not the slickest of deals.

I don't see that price a month ago but perhaps it was. The last Slickdeal was the same price of $20 in October, and based on two price trackers there's no data before that and no reviews that I see before that either, so it seems like it probably just started selling at Walmart at least under this name in October 2025. Like I said, you could be right though.
