Bought the MSI Shadow 3X OC RTX 5070 for $440 (after complaining to Walmart about their sales practices). Is this card worth the extra $155 having less efficient memory speeds, older DisplayPort 1.4 (3×DP 1.4a, 1×HDMI 2.1a VS. 3×DP 2.1b, 1×HDMI 2.1b), and DLSS 3.5, Ada AI acceleration VS. DLSS 4, DisplayPort 2.1, Blackwell AI boost? Which is more future proof?

DisplayPort 1.4a: Offers a bandwidth of up to 26 Gbps, supporting resolutions up to 4K at 120Hz and 8K at 30Hz. It also utilizes Display Stream Compression (DSC) to achieve higher resolutions and refresh rates.
DisplayPort 2.1b: Provides a substantial increase in bandwidth, reaching up to 80 Gbps. This allows for 10K resolution at 60Hz or dual 4K displays at 144Hz without compression, making it ideal for ultra-high-definition displays and gaming.

The 9070 XT is better (sometimes significantly) than the 4070 Ti Super in most titles, regardless of RT or not. The 9070 XT handles RT fine, but not as well as the newer gen 5070 Ti. Not everyone has a Micro Center near them to get a 9070 XT at a comparable price however, so I wanted to give the 4070 Ti Super some credit for being a very capable last gen offering. Most retailers that aren't Micro Center look to be around $650-700 for the 9070 XT so if you're saving upwards of $100 on this card the 5-8% decline in general performance is easier to swallow.

If you have a MC and can get a 9070 XT for $580, it's straight up the best bang for buck GPU on the market at the moment.

I would say that the deal is borderline acceptable, but wouldn't go as far as saying its "good" either. Newer 5070 ti cards can be purchased for 20% more ($730). With that you get a 14 % power boost (according to userbenchmark.com), newer technology (including MFG), better power efficiency. Contrast the open box card with a 5070 non-ti, which is about 6% faster (according to userbenchmark.com), and sells for 16% less ($500). If the Zotac were selling the open box card for $550 or less, it would offer a better value proposition (in my mind). If it was me, I would pass unless I had some immediate need for 16 GB of VRAM, and couldn't afford the extra $130 or so for a newer card (which offers better future proofing).
Couple of other related concerns with this card. While GPUs may returned for a myriad of reasons, I suspect that fan noise and coil whine may be major reasons. Non-super version of this card is already loud. That is true, you also get 4xFG and DLSS4. I would say at $550 or $530 this would be a no brainer but at $600 it's on the edge

No. They are very close in speed, 5070 has the new multiframe tech. 4070TiS has 4gb extra Vram. They are pretty similar cards. You did well at $470, enjoy the 5070!

9070xt has been close to this price recently a few times, but I think it was Microcenter. I'd want the warranty of a new one since I keep GPU's so long, it's hard to stomach $600 for a used, generation-old GPU with a very limited warranty.
