No time machine of course, but last month you were able to get a 16GB card with 2TB SSD and 32GB DDR5 RAM for the same price as this. It's worth it to go for this refurb machine just for the newer and faster RAM and CPU.

This deal was $50 more just a few weeks back. It's a much better deal than this, but it has expired.

That is better, but still 8gb card. Not to mention expired.

Was still an 8gb card, but the extra ram was nice.

A word of warning. AMD pulled a fast one with the release of the Ryzen 7 5700. They crippled it with only 16MB of L3 cache. It's basically a Ryzen 7 5700G without the integrated graphics. All other 5xxx non-X3D and non-G CPUs come with 32MB of L3 cache. If you're buying this for gaming it can have a very detrimental effect on performance.

I mean on Black Friday there was an Acer refurb with with 4070ti super and 32gb DDR5 ram for 999 or so. Kicking myself for missing that. That was before ramageddon tho 😔

We need Intel back in the game for both CPU and GPU. Hell if their struggling so badly make ram and ssd's too. I don't think they ever made ram but they did make excellent ssds.
