Remember all these tools are non fuel versions and are their older model tools. If your going to spend this much there's no need for the crappy old drill and impact, flashlight and blower. You'd be better off getting the core tools in fuel and call it a day

If you're just getting into a kit, go with Ridgid. They offer "lifetime warranty" on tools, chargers AND batteries through their Lifetime Service Agreement. Provided you register within 90 Days. Then ensure you reregister when replacements are given to continue the LSA. Ridgid is sold by Home Depot and Direct Tool outlet. Ensure you purchase only New or "Blemished" tools/accessories from DTO to qualify for LSA.

Fyi - Ryobi, Ridgid (portable power tools) and Milwaukee are all made by the same company, TTI.

If you already are with a different brand, purchasing and registering Ridgid batteries and using them in a Ridgid to brand X battery adapter purchased via eBay is another way to save on long term costs.
