I bought this back in 2021 for $159. It has held up pretty well but I made some modifications before I used it, including 3 coats of high temp paint on all parts, larger washers to make it more sturdy and drilled holes in the bottom to allow drainage. Also, never allow wet ashes to stay in there. That will rust it out in a very short amount of time.

Yep, if it were at $50, I'm in for 2. I burn a lot of fires in my driveway and go through a couple pits a year.

as a part time fire bug enthusiast, it looks like it needs "holes" in the bottom to allow updraft ventilation. easy fix if needed though. similar to an engine...."air' in air out concept with convection providing the draft.
