FWIW - the protein/serving is little light (i.e., lots of fillers). 30g protein for 49g serving size.

Edit: Received $12 walgreens cash for future spend.

Note that this has added creatine, taurine, and glutamine. That is 4.5 grams of non-fillers. It's $15 for 38 servings of 30g protein powder with creatine and glutamine. It is not grass-fed, organic protein derived from unicorn colostrum.

none of this matters, what you worry about is protein spiking with creatine: https://nutrabio.com/blogs/blog/a...g-look-out [nutrabio.com]

Basically companies use creatine to lie about the amount of protein powder sometimes
I would not apply "protein spiking" to this product. Adding BCAAs and other ingredients and claiming huge protein grams per serving fits that bill. This nutrition label is straightforward, as is the front label. The label clearly states that it contains added creatine and amino acids. Per the ingredients and nutritional data, the 4.5 grams of added creatine, taurine, and glutamine are in addition to the 30 grams of protein per serving. Even if you deduct, it is still 25.5 grams of protein per serving. The key to knowing terms like "protein spiking" is to actually comprehend what it means, what a fraudulent label looks like, etc. Throwing around a term does not mean the term is being applied correctly.

Contains added raw sugar. Not a ton, but some.
The ingredient list includes "Cellulose Gum,Soy Lecithin (with Ethoxylated Mono-Diglycerides and Propylene Glycol),Natural and Artificial Flavors,..., Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose, Propylene Glycol, ..., Silicon Dioxide", and you're worried about a gram of sugar per serving?

Maltodextrin. Trash protein
Maltodextrin is a carbohydrate, so it is not included in the grams of protein listed in this product.

Cool, I needed some whey. Order wouldn't complete with Firefox, had to use Chrome.

Very slick deal. $0.45 a serving, with the added coupon in this thread. Ordered 6 (4 vanilla 2 chocolate), free 1 hour delivery. There are (regional) shipping limitations, it capped me at 2 chocolate. Not sure if there was a vanilla cap on my order.

Already received, 5 with '27 expiration dates, 1 with August '26 expiration date.

Tried the vanilla, taste is tolerable, doesn't seem to be as good as much more expensive brands' vanilla I've tried. But at this price, as long as it doesn't make me retch it's a win.

From the research I have looked at, dietary cholesterol has no effect on cholesterol numbers or risk of heart disease in the vast majority of people. No one is going to increase their risk of heart attack with some whey protein. I see it as a complete nonsense issue and likely anyone that is worrying about this probably has way more other problematic dietary habits that are far more damaging to health than some cholesterol in whey protein.

Ammonium chloride? Dont see that often. Going to have to look it up.

"Small doses of ammonium chloride are unlikely to affect human health. The problem with this compound is that it poses hazards to the environment. Prolonged exposure to ammonium chloride fumes may cause respiratory problems, headaches, and eye irritation."
