I have a 1,500 mW headphone amp I haven't ever used past 50% volume. This is a pretty insane amount of power for headphones.

Good deal! I'm using one at my desk right now-- paired with a Schiit Modi 4 DAC. Good performance for the price!

Interesting, they still have this in stock. Product was discontinued approx 2 yrs ago and they had it on close out @ $69.00, and it's still priced at $69? Should it not be lower?

Keep in mind the "power" spec is semi useless without knowing the impedance it's rated at. 1000 mW rated into 16 Ohms may produce only 7 mW into 600 Ohm cams. It is far more useful to know the outputs rail voltage and its maximum current.

The industry standard unit for headphone amps is mW.

You don't have to keep them. You could give two Schiit's.

Good ol' ASR. For those who care more about how something sounds to a computer than how it sounds to their own ears...

What is this for? Make your headphone sound louder?
Yes, but this would only be needed for hard-to-drive, high-impedance headphones.
