From what I can tell Bullseye is a Target liquidator/surplus seller. Bought some items from them for a great price.

I think the original price is over-priced.

Wondering how safe these are, re: what's all in making them?

Not really? Just a few bad reviews. And keep in mind those people paid $70 and have much higher expectations.

I have been looking to replace our dinnerware with the more safer options out there and something more durable.

I was recommended the Corelle Vitrelle lineup for the more value-based options at around $50. Still looking in to it a bit more but, man, some of these sets get to be $200+.

Shouldn't stoneware be oven safe too?

Can't beat corelle plates for longevity. I switched from their round plates to square plates for a more modern look and never looked back. In 15 years I've never seen one break or even chip. They're super thin though so while some like me love them it's a turnoff for some who want thick heavy stoneware like in this post. I love the vitrelle material so much I also stocked up on the entire Rubbermaid Duralite bakeware line as it's made out of their own version of the same Corelle Vitrelle material
