Is there something about this battery that makes it inferior to other ones in their lineup? I'm just curious because a 4ah was posted at a higher price a few days ago and got allot more traction

SDs is a finicky place. Some people might have different alert settings setup, and just did not see this one vs the other .

All of the 4ah are pretty much the same. I have a mix of old and new 24v and they all work just fine. Some will have the usb port built in (so you can charge it) and others will not have that. Other than that, they all work pretty much the same.
