This has got to be the most god damn frustrating product costco carries EVER.
I have 19 of these and all 19 have had issues within 2-3 years. Let me repeat. All 19.
Once it starts doing false alarms, you're done. You need to disable it permanently (you can silence, but not turn off).
Get ready to have your wife leave you, be evicted from your apt, dog run away, kids freak out and have the police called on you as you bash these stupid ****ing smoke alarms with a sledgehammer.

You've been warned.

100%. Solved false alarm issues when I've installed them.

I just returned these yesterday. Bought a 2-pack in the store to try them. One worked and the other failed on second test. I lit a paper on fire in a sink to test it and nothing. I was going to exchange them but after reading the reviews on the website, I decided a refund would be best.

Any suggestions for better options would be appreciated.
