If you have a Costco membership, King Arthur bags of 10lb run about $8. A much better deal IMO.

80oz bag of this is $5.47 at Walmart. (6.8 cents per oz). So this is just slightly better than that.

FWIW I bought a really large bag (20 pounds or so) of pizza/bread flour from Sam's thinking I could be frugal. I ended up having to put most of the bag in our deep freeze because I wasn't using it quick enough. I did end up using all of it but regret buying so much as I didn't think the quality of the freezer -stored flour was as good. YMMV of course...

i make pizza all the time. this is much better. more crackly and crisp, not as HARD. i find KA to make hard chewy stuff compared to this beautiful crackly Bobs red mill Artisan bread flour.

Not much of a deal...works out to $1.16 a pound, or $5.00 for a 5 pound bag. You can buy 10 lbs for King Arthur Bread Flour for $10.00 at Sams or Costco, or $11.00 at WalMart.
