Your right and this isnt a good deal its a refurb and i bet the dogsh1t intel processor crapped out due to degradation issue they have

This makes literally no sense lol.

1. This is an ARROW LAKE CPU. Its a 275HX. It was NEVER exposed to the intel issues of 13/14th gen.
2. Arrow Lake is the BEST mobile cpu offering right now. Full stop. Great power, great efficiency. Excellent battery life.

3. This is the cheapest 5070TI laptop offering around. Its a slimmer premium offering for those who dont want a behemoth gaming laptop

4. It comes directly from Acer and has a LONG warranty.

5. Prices are going UP, not DOWN.

You are buying into an incredible CPU, Outstanding GPU even at 115w, premium thin chassis, OLED screen, etc for far less than MSRP.

This is a Core Intel Ultra. The processors with issues were 13th/14th gen. If you're going to put that kind of comment you might want to do some research first.

Minor corrections: screen is IPS not OLED, GPU power should also be well above 115W - I'm seeing 140W and "up to" 170W figures from a quick googling.

This isn't the 16S model. This one has the full 140W TGP 5070 TI. I have the 16S model and while I do appreciate the size, I am tempted to trade it for this model just for the extra performance.

But wouldn't that affect your temps and battery life? I'm curious about how the temps and battery life are on your 16s and would appreciate if you could share that

Battery life is terrible for 16s AI so I would assume both device are not great. Believe it's only around 4hrs ish and refresh rate can only be set at 240Hz. I have one from Ebay refurblished during BF sale and only use as plugged in. Temp is high espeically in center keyboard area, and fan is loud if you set mode to performance or turbo. I use separate keyboard and monitor so doesn't really matter that much to me in my case.
