Bought this and returned it. Remote control is really flakey, water pressure is weak and overall build quality is felt flimsy. Coming from a prior Bio Bidet it felt like a substantial downgrade. I would recommend spending a little more to get something better. I ended up getting a Toto.

FWIW, i have a 1000 model and it crapped out after about 2 years. I paid to have it fixed post-warranty and then it started acting up another year later. No more of this brand for me..i bought an Alpha UX Pearl which is so far very nice and has a 3-year warranty.

Same, it's a terrible product. I didn't return mine though just hate using it. Pressure sucks, temp doesn't heat high enough and runs out mid rinse so you're rinsing with freezing water in the winter and it's definitely not tankless (if it is the heater is so weak it gives out mid rinse). Does anyone know how long the return policy is for this? I didn't return it initially since it felt wrong since I had used it but it's a terrible product and I'm definitely replacing it. This is nothing like the similarly priced bemis uspa bio bidet I bought for my other bathroom a while back.

I had the biobidet 6800 since 2017. Just replaced it a couple of days ago...the seat starts to Crack and break apart. Seems to be a common issue with no replacement parts available. I went with alpha jx2. Different price point but no complaints so far.
Going on year 4 with my 6800 that I got from Costco for $200. This one seems like way worse quality for the price

My old BioBidet had the attached controls and I like that so much better than this remote. Also the turbo option on this model is feeble Frown

Why is there never a deal on round models? I have elongated in all my bathrooms but one and I need bidet on it
I installed an elongated 6800 on my round toilet before. The front rim was visible on the inside of the front, as expected. but it worked fine. In fact, the lip on the seat would provide support on the seat there, which may be why that unit lasted longer than our others (from seat cracks - due to more support area).

Point is, it can work... you should give it a look/try.

How do people get an outlet near their toilet? I would love one of these but I'll have to wait for rechargeable lithium ion batteriesFrown
Run an extension cord? I have one in our guest bathroom that comes from the side of the sink, down behind it, then along the wall to the toilet on the other side.

I can't with the format of our bathroom, it would have to go across the floor and I could cover it but it would be very obvious :'(I'm never gonna a get my heated ass blower 5000 :

Stick it to the wall next to the bidet so that you can control it without having to contort your body to see the controls. Every good bidet comes with one. I have the biobidet 2000 which is the upgrade to this model and I love it.

Because anyone who has the money to buy a bidet also has the money to upgrade to an elongated bowl. Upgrade your toilet; your male guests will thank you.

How does this compare to the USPA Pro (Biobidet) for $239? My USPA 6800 just died after 5 years, which seems average, Old one was not as good as my Toto but replacement Totos are double the price.
Save your money and get the bb2000

I don't have a hot water connection near my toilet, so should I just get the regular 30 dollar one from Amazon?

The remote seems odd. I guess maybe some people are afraid of reaching for handle and grabbing somethign else?

The bidet warms the water via an integrated heater. No hot-water connection needed. But that's also why it needs power (as well as for the motors and such in there).

You can certainly use the non-heated ones... I like the warm water, heated seat, and the oscillating jet of the powered units. I never use the dryers - they're not really that effective. 5 squares of TP is sufficient for me.

On the other hand, we have two of the 1000s. One from 2014 that now has a hairline crack in the back center of the seat. The other one is from 2021. Both fully functional.
