Bought this and returned it. Remote control is really flakey, water pressure is weak and overall build quality is felt flimsy. Coming from a prior Bio Bidet it felt like a substantial downgrade. I would recommend spending a little more to get something better. I ended up getting a Toto.

FWIW, i have a 1000 model and it crapped out after about 2 years. I paid to have it fixed post-warranty and then it started acting up another year later. No more of this brand for me..i bought an Alpha UX Pearl which is so far very nice and has a 3-year warranty.

I've been using this bidet for the past year. No complaints so far outside of a kinda wobbly seat. I was in Japan recently and felt at home with their endless supplies of bidet everywhere there since I started using one here

We have had a few BioBidets in the past and all have been problematic after a few years. When they go bad now, we have switched to Totos. Functionally, they're all pretty much the same.

The remote seems odd. I guess maybe some people are afraid of reaching for handle and grabbing somethign else?
I never use the seat controls on mine. Always the remote. It has more options on it and I mounted it on the wall. Seat controls used in desperation only, I dont wanna touch a toilet seat anymore than I have to.

Run an extension cord? I have one in our guest bathroom that comes from the side of the sink, down behind it, then along the wall to the toilet on the other side.
That is what I did.

Similar experience here but I kept it because I already have toto in another room, though that one also (I think C200) showing it's age after 7+ years. I thought about replacing both with this, but thank you and others for the comments. My Bio Bidet (also from Costco) biggest complain is the weak pressure. Is your exact model with "turbo"? I thought that might make a difference? I don't know why these bidets can't get the pressure right. Mine is also making more noise with the air purifying when you first sit. However the model I got has a better design remote, it's two sided. There are settings on front and back, and a LCD screen. I got that for $250 around 3.5 yrs ago.

Stick it to the wall next to the bidet so that you can control it without having to contort your body to see the controls. Every good bidet comes with one. I have the biobidet 2000 which is the upgrade to this model and I love it.
This is what they do in Japan. All of the controls are attached to the panel beside you.

I wonder if this is as good or at least good enough compared to Toto?

The whole idea of a remote with these is gross to me. Think of all the folks who were holding it while they squeezed out a log, maybe took a wipe, and pressed it again for good measure. That's nope from me.

I'm under the strong bias of go TOTO or go home. I've had one for 4 years now and not a single issue. Well, now that I said it, I guess I have to go check Big Grin

So the idea of wiping down a remote is foreign to you, i cant imagine what your toilet seat looks like

I have a full bidet (whole toilet) from Bio Bidet. The thing breaks like every year or two and starts leaking water. Right after warranty expires of course. When it works it's great. I just have to pay like $60 and for the repair and ship the top portion (looks much like this) in a giant box every once in a while, and have a non-functioning toilet for a couple weeks... Very obnoxious. Wouldn't buy Bio Bidet again.
Edit: To clarify the "leaking water" is from the nozzle on the inside of the toilet, so not the end of the world. Still functions fine when it breaks.

I first had a Toto and it died after about 4 years. Bought the Costco USPA 6800. Just died after 5 years. Toto was a bit better functionally but same lifetime. So not sure its worth the extra $100+ to get a Toto S2 if they are going to last the same 5 years.
