A few comments: this is the 1st generation Scribe, not the current version. The latest version is substantially more expensive however the benefits of the new features are questionable. I have the original version that I bought as a refurb and am a satisfied customer. I don't plan to buy the 2nd generation.

How well does the Scribe work for taking notes, digitizing them using OCR, and then syncing them with the cloud (Dropbox or Google Drive) in .rtf, .txt or .docx format?

I already have multiple Kindles for reading, am more interesting in the handwriting-OCR-cloud functionality. Was looking into the Remarkable devices but they seem overpriced and a bit glitchy for the OCR/cloud part.

I suggest ordering one to try out. I need a front light. If you don't need a front light, look at Supernote and Viwoods.
