Can someone tell me? I don't think you can use an electrobrush with this. (I realize it doesn't come with one, but I also don't think it has the powered wand capability).

Our Miele has been tremendous. It's taken tons of abuse, seriously it's been kicked, tossed down the stairs, banged and it really sucks, but in a good way!

Clearly, that was written by someone who has never used a Miele!

Bought and returned. My Shark does a better job on carpet.

I'll take BS that never happened for $1000 Alex… I'm sure you've also had killer Mexican the last time you visited taco bell.

Can someone actually explain in technical terms why this vacuum is better than Shark or Dyson? Perhaps, compare suction power and other characteristics.

Otherwise, it's just emotional BS without data.

Its lighter. On a wand vac you're holding the entire machine whereas in this the vacuum is in the canister -> which also means you can have a larger motor that runs QUIET. On the lowest setting I can still have a conversation with my wife. I have both an older Dyson and a Samsung Jet Bespoke. I absolutely HATE the samsung. It's 3x as loud on its lowest setting and picks up 1/4 of the dust my C3 calima does on its lowest. We basically only use it for small pickups that would be too much effort to wheel out the C3. The nicest thing about the Miele vacs is the one button cord windup, which I feel is probably 80% of the headache of using corded tools (makes me wish more corded tools would adopt a similar system for cord management). It's one of the expensive things I bought when I moved out that I have absolutely zero regrets purchasing and would do it again in a heartbeat. It's easy to use, put away, has strong suction while managing to be quiet, and I don't have to have the hot motor air blasting into my face when I move the wand around.

"Miele" means "honey" in Italian so I think we need to be clear that we are talking about vacuums here.

You're correct, this doesn't come with the powered hose or wand. It doesn't even have the port to plug it in. This is a pure suction model.
