I've got a couple of these - they work really well. I've been using the vent clip; originally I was worried I would break the vent, but it seems to be OK.

The adhesive if you're trying to stick it onto the car directly doesn't work so hot on soft touch surfaces though.

Does it have the standard ball type connection? I want to replace the cradle holder with this mag mount on my custom car mount.

applied magnet to my phone. case must be too thick, it slides right off.
