The HD 560S are open back wired headphones tuned for detailed, analytical listening, with strong directionality for PC and FPS gaming and clear vocals. They are comfortable for all day wear, easy to EQ, and can run from a PC or a small amp without much trouble. The sound leans bright and bass light, so bass lovers may want EQ, and the open back design lets in outside noise. At around this price, they stand out as a strong value for gaming and casual critical listening.
PC gamers who want precise positional audio, because the open-back tuning makes footsteps and direction easy to hear.
Listeners who prefer an analytical sound for production work, because the tuning is described as more suited to audio production than everyday listening.
All-day desktop listeners who value comfort, because the lightweight fit is described as comfortable enough for extended wear.
People who want easy-to-drive headphones, because they can run from a PC or small amp without much power.
Bass-first listeners who want a warm, heavy low end, because the sound is described as dry and bass-light unless EQ is adjusted.
Buyers who need a reliable open-box unit immediately, because some units arrived dead or were promptly cancelled.
People in noisy rooms who need isolation, because the open-back design lets outside sound in.
Shoppers expecting a plug-and-play microphone setup, because the 2.5mm locking jack makes compatible mic adapters hard to find.

Unbeatable at this price point, IMO. Easy EQ, super comfortable and durable (they FEEL plastic-y but have taken a beating like a champ). I almost wish I never bought the Sundaras because they are only marginally better than the 560s but way less comfortable.
they're probably closer to the k701/2 than the hd6xx if I remember correctly.
