If anyone wants to do the hack, remember to pick the most expensive free tool.

If you are not joking, it is about buying and returning (or not picking up) the free item to cut down the overall cost. Seach ryobi hack and you might get more details of what people did in the past. I got this exact tool for below $90 with the hack last time.

Seems like a good deal. Thoughts on tool? I have an old black and decker blower that I don't HAVE to replace, but Slickdeals....

I also transitioned from a much inferior black and decker blower. The difference is day and night. But I might be comparing apples and oranges.

Also worth mentioning is that the battery that comes with this tool is not the HP one. You might get more power if you have a HP battery on hand.

I used to have this and it is really quiet, compared to other browsers I've had. The 4ah 18v battery was not enough to dry my car. I needed to use two. Same for leaves. Needed them both to blow a normal size amount.
I upgraded to ego 700+ cfm and while it's much louder (I use ear protection), it was a big upgrade for doing leaves and the car.

TLDR: it works good for dry leaves and drying car.

Been looking at this or another model for a quick/light alternative to the backpack blower. Had to pick it up at a different store than my local, but worth the drive. Pretty quiet for the power in my quick test, and add another battery to the collection.

If you're not big into Ryobi, that makes sense. A lot of people are like me, many tools and many batteries, so the 1 battery could be an issue. I have the same setup with my yard tools. I have about 5 40v Greenworks yard tools so around 6 batteries. One of my Greeworks items is the single stage snowblower. Works great but eats batteries. I can do my drive and sidewalk easy, but use all or almost all before done. If I only had the 2 that it came with, I would not be happy.
