Was looking for a solid deal on a G5, and came across this one. Seems like the lowest price out there for a 34" G5 by a significant amount, and beats the EPP deal that was posted a couple weeks back.

Does appear to be a YMMV, as stock is somewhat limited from what I can see.

Great for gaming. Might be a little too curved for office use.

It's a good monitor. I purchased it from Walmart for this exact price in November 2024.

I just got this last month from the eBay deal for the same price. It's nice but I wish the colors were a bit better. Also the monitor doesn't pivot on the stand. Overall decent for the price

Samsung website state its a VA panel.
I've had bad experiences with VA panels when not directly in front of the monitor. its off-axis (viewing angles) were terrible.
Once I moved away from dead center of a VA panel monitor the colors would shift and there would be a "white halo/haze" all over the screen.
Maybe im in the minority but yes I do move around while viewing my monitor. sometimes I watch movies/youtube and move around, swivel in my chair etc.
for me is IPS or OLED. Unless VA technology has improved (my VA monitor was a 2024 samsung 32" UHD 4k flat). I'm still holding out until my eyes tell me different

I have no clue on this monitor but 250 nits is totally fine in your typical teenage stoner basement gaming cave or middle to low class bedroom with one window and drapes.

Also Some VA panels kick ips all day for there is a lot more to it then the angle. I have seen ips panels that are migraine and eye strain makers to the 19th degree due to the finish not being matte and producing a lot of flickering and blue light. Want o check out soon take a high nit monitor and crank it all the way up and put some lights flaring off the screen and have contrast w bit out of wack and you I'll take a VA panel all day long from a solid panel maker. Now this is from more of a 10-12 hour office work not gaming so not to concerned in lag and shit but I just picked up a flat va panel Samsung at 100hz for under 200 bucks and love it. I have curved at work so it's kinda of a need screw going between the 2 but use to it now.

Honestly, it's a decent monitor for the price and size. I put mine on a monitor arm which fixed any adjustments.

I recently tried a Samsung 32 180hz VA. The adjustability and build quality was amazing but the ghosting was really bad. I took it back and got a 27 IPS and I've been happy since.
