Is the long snip portion what makes this a good deal? The Crescent Wiss snippers are only $3 more and made in the US.

For $10 more you can get the full set of snips: left, right and straight cutting.

I bought blunt-tipped snips similar to this thinking I MIGHT need them someday. My wife said it was a waste of money; "you're a fool" she said!

Well, several years back my little one decided to poke her finger into the shower drain and got it caught. She screamed, my wife screamed...me, cool as a cucumber. Snip, snip, free! Who's the fool now!?

In all seriousness, it was a Hail Mary before calling for help. We were all a little panicked when her finger started to turn a little purple.

Those handles are a mess. The standard for quick identification is red, yellow and green. Mixing in blue just to include the Kobalt coloring is ridiculous. Looks like a box of crayons threw up....

I guess I'm okay with the handle color. If I ask a kid to get the tool with the blue and yellow handles, they'll come back with the correct one.

Are you saying that you cut her finger off to free her? Quite an endorsement for the strength of these snips, in for one. 😱

Is this what they use for vasectomy operations? 😬
