Dongle is like $40 by itself normally as well and doesn't come with a lot of the more expensive sets even though it works with all of them and generally provides improved audio quality and range.

Small pet peeve of mine, but if feel the whole "use case" thing is so over used...
i'm aware i can connect it wired to the controller, but i really do not like this route.
currently using a logitech g935 that connects to ps5 wirelessly via usb dongle. but these headsets are too damn heavy.
mic is not a problem, i do not use mic when on ps5
