I also have a similar unit (size and price wise) and it can not connect to stock head unit via Bluetooth). Radio is a bad idea with interference and signal strength. Ugly Aux cable is the only realistic solution. Works ok though.
I didn't spring for a higher priced unit since no guarantee of better bluetooth implementation.
