So tempted. Bought this in July and it was gorgeous! Far exceeded what I thought would arrive and it bloomed for months. I brought it inside for the winter along with all the other plants, including other hibiscus. It is not doing so well.

The other hibiscus do fine in a 50-55 degree room. I am hoping the blue chiffon will bounce back in the spring.

My guess is this will arrive without leaves or flowers. . . and I won't know if I got a dead plant or I couldn't revive it!

Worth noting that Rose of Sharon is considered invasive in some states.

There are both tropical and hardy varieties of hibiscus. The one being sold will die back in winter but start again in spring.

I got this in Summer/Fall of 2025. Zone 5 Midwest. Did not survive the outside. Lots of morning sun and then evening shade. I dug it up to bring it inside because it looked so sad. I hope it revives in the spring. Would not get again.
