I have the 12gal stealthsonic and that is the model that I recommend to people as I think it is the best blend of quiet and airflow among the Steathsonic vac lineup. However, I really wouldn't mind owning a second, smaller vac. So, I went looking for specifications and much to my annoyance, I can't seem to find any, even on Dewalt's website. In fact, I don't think this model is even on their website. I did look at the 10gal stainless (version?) and again, no performance specifications.
The licensed manufacturer for DeWalt wet/dry vacs (Alton Industries) has them. E.g.: https://altonindustries.com/produ...-gallon-ss

These vacuums are shockingly quiet. I would definitely recommend this lineup.
What I don't understand is why you would get this instead of the 6 gallon at Lowe's for $85 I can't tell the difference other than this has the cheap foam filter casing

Still waiting for dewalt to make these stealth sonic large vacs that flexvolt. 60v only 1 battery required to work but a slot for a 2nd flexvolt for extended runtime. They would prob pair with 9s or 12s but i would be able pair with 2 15s and would be great. To make even better corded option as well

Just ordered that, seems like a great deal and it doesn't even show up as listed on sale

How does dewalt compare to ridgid wet dry vacs? Do the auto detailing attachments for these generally work well?
Lowes delivered mine (6 gallon) in 55 min from order, I'm shocked. Set it up and it is very powerful and much quieter than my Rigid which screams at this point. It is not as quiet as I hoped but that's compared with my Festool dust collector and Miele canister. Accessories are pretty basic and I think I will need a narrower crevice tool for car work.

There were performance specifications in one of the pictures, if you're talking about their silly horsepower metric. 4hp, so less than the old model. What I really want to know is if these crap out in under a year like the reviews suggest the older one does - my dog burns out one vacuum a year so I'm thinking a Shop-Vac will be more reasonable in the long run, but I'd like one that lasts
I've the 12g model since Sep 2023, it's super quiet for its size but I only take it out for bigger jobs due to the weight and size. I've various brands and sizes, my preference is between 3-6 gal will fit most of my needs but the Stealthsonic is more quiet than my other units

this does have 25% more airflow (105 cfm vs. 85). personally i agree it's not worth 60% more though.
