I would prefer a couple other useful parts like a tourniquet, instead of maybe 150 of the 200 small bandaids.

This looks like a decent base kit for $10.
Add a couple of tensor/crepe bandages and a few sizes of sterile gauze pads and I think this would cover 90% of what you're likely to do at home.

Keep looking - honestly, these kits are not even worth a $. You think you have something to use, but then the band-aids don't stick, the gauze DOES stick and everything wears out in 6 months and isn't usable anyway. Just my two-cents

A quality TQ costs more than $10, it seems unrealistic to expect a tourniquet and other stuff for $10.

Sadly much of that is going to expire or waste away before you get a chance to use it.

Pair it with this FP deal and I think you're set.

I mean yes, hopefully.

You don't buy a first aid kit hoping to squeeze every last bit of value out of it. At least I don't.
But I'd rather have this and not need it then need it and not have it.

I've worked first aid on construction sites and at a summer camp. This plus a compression bandage and some bigger band aids (better yet sterile gauze and tape) covers 90% of the first aid I've done at home for family or on the sidelines playing pick up sports.

Then replace what you use as you need to.

Right? That's like saying, "sadly, that fire extinguisher is going to expire before you get a chance to use it."
