insane deal. I just paid $150 for speed cross 3. Sadly, the SC3 is far better than the SC6.

Sure. A lot of people hike in trail runners. I like the way these lace. I use a pair of similar Salomon as my primary backpacking shoe as I can get them on and off quickly for river crossings or going to pee in the middle of the night.

Thanks, but yes, shipping is selected. I tried multiple sizes, and went to the checkout page. Oh well.

does this show have gore-tex? I found an almost identical shoe that says it's gore-tex. Only difference is is "contact grip" is written on the side of the toe box.

If you're a serious hiker in difficult/rocky terrain, probably not. It's not that durable. But if it's just regular flat surface then it's fine. I actually prefer running shoes over hiking shoes.

Usually the Gore-Tex ones will say GTX on the description. I have these plus the GTX version. If you're going to be in a wet environment, go with the GTX.
